Baldwinsville FD helps 24 other Distrists with Camilus Cutlery Fire

Monday, February 11, 2013  Members of the Baldwinsville Fire Department provided mutual aid to Camillus Fire Depart on Feb. 11, 2013, for a massive blaze that destroyed the old Camillus Cutlery Factory.  Ladder 2 moved into the scene and was manned with members form Stations 2 and 3 along side Lakeside FD members.  All three Baldwinsville FD stations were manned until past 9:00 p.m. in order to provide mutual a... Baldwinsville FD Wins Two Awards at 2013 Winter Games

Sunday, February 10, 2013  On February 9-10, 2013, members of the Baldwinsville Fire Department participated in the 2013 FASNY Winter Games at Greek Peak Resort and SUNY Cortland.  They placed second overall in the Sled Pull and were the first department ever to receive the Matthew Porcaci Sportsmanship Award.  Matthew was a firefighter with the Owego Fire Department who lost his life in a house fire in January... Baldwinsville FD Engine 4 Stands-by At Phoenix Station 1

Sunday, February 3, 2013  Baldwinsville FD Engine 4 answered the call to stand-by at Phoenix FD Station 1.  They were helping to cover the region as local departments were called out to a fire at the Sunoco Ethanol Plant in Volney, NY at approximately 9:55 am.  The plant produces 25% of the ethanol in the count.  Volney, Phoenix, Cody, and Fulton Fire Departments battle the blaze for nearly one hour. &nbs...
