Sunday, February 10, 2013 On February 9-10, 2013, members of the Baldwinsville Fire Department participated in the 2013 FASNY Winter Games at Greek Peak Resort and SUNY Cortland.  They placed second overall in the Sled Pull and were the first department ever to receive the Matthew Porcaci Sportsmanship Award.  Matthew was a firefighter with the Owego Fire Department who lost his life in a house fire in January 2013.  He was a regular at the Winter Games over the years. Congratulations to all that participated and a big thank you to all those that made the trip down to the Games to cheer our members on.
