Town Square Apartment Fire

     

Monday, March 26, 2012 On March 26, 2012, at 11:02 p.m., the Baldwinsville Fire Department was dispatched to a call for help from 116 Oswego St. in the Town Square Apartments. First arriving emergency vehicles arrived to a scene with fire already venting through the roof in one part the apartment complex. Mutual aid fire companies from Belgium/Cold Springs, Lakeside, Liverpool, Memphis and Phoenix assisted the Baldwinsville Fire Department in bringing the blaze under control. A quick fire attach kept the damages down. The Baldwinsville Fire Department utilized their recently acquired tower truck to help with the extinguishment of this fire. Eight families were displaced from the units but were being helped by the American Red Cross. You can read more about the fire at the following news venues:
